Licensing

The following licenses are available. Please note, the following PDF documents are non-executable documents. They are for REVIEW ONLY.

To become a licensee, please review the below Agreements with your legal counsel and engineering team to determine which License is best for your company. Then click the link below for the appropriate Agreement and supply us the email address of your company signatory (CEO, President, Vice President, etc.). We will then email that person a link to electronically sign the documents through DocuSign. Once we receive the signed documents and verify they are completed correctly we will issue an invoice for the Annual Fee. Once all required licensing fees have been paid in full, DCP LLC will execute the license and return an electronic copy, for your records along with procedures for ordering device key sets, if applicable, to your Authorized Contact. The full adopter agreement that provides license to manufacture HDCP 1.x components and products, as well as purchase HDCP 1.x device key sets.

This HDCP License Agreement is for HDCP 1.x Adopters who wish to become Licensed for HDCP 2.x Technology. If your company is currently a HDCP 1.x Licensed Adopter and you need to become Licensed for HDCP 2.x, you will need to execute this HDCP License Agreement for Current Adopters and Addendum to HDCP License Agreement, please click here.

Provides license to use HDCP Specification Revision 2.x technologies. No additional license fee is required.

A lighter version of the full adopter agreement that provides license to manufacture HDCP components, but does not allow the adopter to manufacture full HDCP products or purchase HDCP device key sets.

Provides license to purchase and resell only HDCP 1.x components for distributors who are not participating in the manufacture of such components or HDCP products.
